Safe Work Australia Week

Once again, Custom Fluidpower will be involved in Safe Work Australia Week from the 24th-30th of October 2010.  

Over 135 000 Australians are seriously injured at work every year and more than 260 die as a result of work-related injuries. The total economic cost of work-related injuries and illnesses to the Australian economy for the 2005-2006 financial year is estimated at $57.5 billion, representing 5.9 per cent of GDP.

The tragedy is that work-related injury, illness and death can be prevented through the adoption of safer work practices.
Safe Work Australia Week reminds us all that safety in the workplace is a priority.
